  • •The PBS audience: Some 24 million civic-minded Americans who are active in their communities (PBS).
     
  • •PBS viewers are individuals who vote, volunteer, and attend cultural events.
     
  • •The Public Television Audience reflects the social and economic makeup of the nation.
     
  • •There are 349 PBS Member Stations operated by 170 non-commercial, educational licensees. Latin View is carried by nearly 30 PBS stations (see list), and continues to add more.
     
  • •Of the 170 licensees, 87 are community organizations, 57 are colleges/universities, 20 are state authorities and 6 are local educational or municipal authorities. 
     
  • •The U.S. Hispanic population that now  totals nearly 40 million Latinos (U.S. Census).
